Epta participates in Chillventa eSpecial

From 13 to 15 October Epta participates in Chillventa eSpecial, the digital edition of the most important biennial fair dedicated to the refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pump sectors. The three-day event will be the opportunity for experts from the global HVAC&R sector to share the latest innovations that will mark the future, with a focus on energy efficiency, sustainability and natural refrigerants.

The Epta team will welcome visitors around a virtual stand where it will illustrate the most recent technologies developed by the Group and be available to guests for technical insights on their solutions and on the evolution of the regulatory framework. For example, presentations are scheduled on the vast range of Misa cold rooms, of the patented system FTE 2.0 Full Transcritical Efficiency system, now pre-installed inside the ECO2SMALL+ CO2 transcritical medium and low power pack and of the ETE Extreme Temperature Efficiency System. Furthermore, David Wirth, Product Manager of Epta, will host a round table meeting on 14 October with a talk focused on the Life-C4R - Carbon 4 Retail Refrigeration project by Epta, co-financed by the European Union.

The FTE 2.0 and ETE systems are the backbone of the Life-C4R previewed at the last edition of Chillventa. This three-year plan, which will conclude in 2021, was born with the purpose of raising awareness within the scientific community, component supply chain and  players within the Retail world to the use of increasingly efficient solutions, to show how it is possible to completely replace old HCFC and HFC refrigerants with modern transcritical CO2, anywhere in the world. Thanks to the Life-C4R Plan, a process of verification and validation of the performance of the FTE and of the ETE in various climatic conditions is underway that will enable them to be certified as comprehensive and reliable solutions for the future of commercial CO2 refrigeration worldwide.
