VISIONARY AWARD FOR LEADERSHIP AND GOVERNANCE OF A PRIVATE COMPANY: THE WCD FOUNDATION REWARDS EPTA'S ETHICAL VISION

Epta has been awarded the Visionary Award for Leadership and Governance of a Private Company, the prestigious recognition given by the Women Corporate Directors Foundation, the largest global network of women at the top of companies, which for over 25 years has rewarded companies for the excellence of their leadership, ethical governance and strategies oriented towards long-term growth.
The award therefore underlines the Group's ethical vision, which has always promoted the proactive integration of its values into concepts such as Diversity & Inclusion and equity in business management, while ensuring solid and constant financial performance. A consolidated formula capable of successfully meeting the needs of all stakeholders, from shareholders, to employees, to customers and the communities in which the Company operates.
WITH EPTA, GOVERNANCE IS A WOMAN: THE STORY OF A D&I JOURNEY
In recent years, Epta has embarked on a path, called D&I Journey, aimed at defining a more inclusive governance, which is divided into numerous initiatives. Among these, the renewal of the Board of Directors and the increase in female representation, which reached the goal of 50% in 2025, testify to the concrete commitment to enhancing different perspectives, in favor of a shared and more informed decision-making process.
In addition, the establishment of the D&I Committee and the drafting of the D&I Manifesto confirm the evolution of the Group's leadership model , thanks to training programs with different focuses each year: multiculturalism in 2023, gender equality in 2024 and intergenerational opportunities this year.
Finally, this inclusive vision permeates the entire personnel management, with fair selection processes and recognition, an Inclusive Language Policy to raise awareness of the importance of inclusive language as well as campaigns for the development of female networking and cross-functional and multi-country mentorship programs.
The awards ceremony took place on Monday, October 6th at The Drake Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. Epta was represented by a delegation composed of the President and some representatives of the Board of Directors, including Professor Marina Brogi, who was also present as Co-Chair Italy of Women Corporate Directors (WCD), together with the company leaders who contributed to outlining the group's inclusive strategy.
"Receiving the Visionary Award for Leadership and Governance of a Private Company is a source of deep pride for Epta, confirming the strategic path taken towards a more inclusive governance." says Michaela Castelli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Epta, who continues "Aware that a true cultural transformation is only possible starting from leadership, we will continue to translate the Group's founding values into sustainable results at every level, under the corporate purpose Preserving our Planet with Conscious Innovation. Together."
