Sustainable innovation: Epta supports Legambiente

Epta is among the founding companies of Unione del Caldo e del Freddo Green, promoted by Legambiente. The most important Italian companies in the sector of commercial refrigeration have joined the project.

The group is formed by companies inspired by the key principles of sustainable innovation and excellence Made in Italy.

Green refrigeration: Epta supports a review of the F-gas Regulation

The Group wants to contribute, at sustainable level and with increasing ambition, to the proposal to review the F-gas Regulation published by the European Commission on 5 April 2022.

A key document to define not only the situation of the European market, but also the world market. The model of reference in this context, at global level, is the Old Continent.

Unione del Caldo e del Freddo aspires to create a national round table at MITE for industry operators and social parties. The goal is to join forces and present proposals to Italian and international institutions, to make known the potential of the RACHP sector, its relevance on the economy of the Country and its green technologies.

Gwp refrigerant and ongoing training: the cornerstones of the new Unione del Caldo e del Freddo

The main focal points of the Group include:

• use of technologies for refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, and heat pumps with low GWP natural gas (≤ 5)
• reconversion of obsolete and highly impactful commercial refrigeration and heating systems
• extension of natural gas to the transport sector for refrigeration, air conditioning and heating
• combatting illegal trade of F-gases
• training and certification of technicians to strengthen the skills of the entire natural gas sector.
