ON-SITE WELLBEING AT THE LIMANA FACILITIES: WITH EPTABRICKS, GROCERIES CAN NOW BE DELIVERED TO THE COMPANY

Epta continues on its path to implementing corporatewelfare with the installation of EPTABricks at its Limana facilities. EPTABricks are refrigerated lockers which are available to all EptaPeople and allow them to order their groceries online and collect them at the end of their working day directly from the company.
The service was initially available to a pilot group of 200 blue-collar and office workers, with the aim of supporting a better work-lifebalance for Epta employees, in cooperation with the Walber brand name. Walber operates the SuperW, JuniorW and WStore supermarkets in the province of Belluno.

This is a successful example of a partnership between two local businesses, aimed at bringing a typical phygital retail solutioninto the corporate world and concretely improving the quality of life of the people who work with us,” said Alberto De Rigo, Head of Italy Commerce at Epta.

The installed EPTABricks combine excellent practicality with utmost sustainability: being able to pick up groceries before going back home means avoiding a trip to the supermarket, which not only relieves the burden of daily chores, but also reduces fuel consumption and associated CO2 emissions.
The eco-friendly performance of the lockers, which are structured into temperature-controlled modules, is also guaranteed by the use of propane as natural refrigerant , not to mention our after-sales and telemonitoring service, which guarantees waste-free operational continuity, and prompt 24/7 intervention in the event of anomalies.
Giovanni Bianco, General Manager of Walber, expressed his total satisfaction with the project’s outcome and praised how every step of the joint work was marked by great synergy. “EPTABricks are a strategic ally in offering our customers best quality and freshest products, helping them save time and giving them quick and easy access to ready-to-eat food options. Epta’s technology and 24/24 remote surveillance system, combined with refrigerated truck transport, guarantee perfect conservation of goods throughout the entire supply chain,” he concluded.
