EPTATECHNICA EXTENDS ITS RANGE OF MODULAR CO2 PACKS WITH ECO2COMPACTA
EptaTechnica, sub-brand of the Epta Group, expands its range of modular packs and transcritical CO2 systems by introducing ECO2Compacta onto the market, achieving new goals in terms of performance, power and cooling capacity.
Designed for small supermarkets or proximity stores, ECO2Compacta is synonymous with compactness, efficiency and flexibility and it completes the series of packs with which the Group satisfies every refrigeration need from 1 to 1,000 Kw. With power ratings that range from 15 to 45 Kw for Medium Temperature applications and from 0 to 9 Kw for Low Temperature, the pack is also equipped with a Booster technology, designed to optimise the energy consumption and operational performance of the machine.
Furthermore, the solution features an innovative high-pressure oil management system developed by Epta, to guarantee constant and stable lubrication, essential to avoid interruptions or anomalies in the refrigeration cycle and increase the useful life of the pack.
COMPACT DESIGN, UNRIVALLED VERSATILITY
The compact design, a special feature of ECO2Compacta, underlies an unrivalled versatility, which makes the pack suitable for indoor or outdoor installations, also in narrow spaces or in irregular shaped environments.
The design features adopted include all the components at the heart of the pack, accessible from only one side, which makes the monitoring and maintenance work faster and more effective, reducing the downtimes and optimising the costs connected with periodic management. Finally, the model is characterised by a low noise level, helping to guarantee acoustic comfort in urban contexts.
THE TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION OF EPTA IN TRANSCRITICAL CO2 REFRIGERATION
The innovation of Epta does not stop at ECO2Compacta but continues to explore new frontiers in transcritical CO2 refrigeration.
An emblematic case is the launch of an unprecedented backup unit announced for January 2025. It will be ideal for those systems in which there is the real risk of a blackout. Specifically, this recovery unit, geared to natural refrigerant for the first time, fits perfectly into a standard configuration and allows to keep the pressure in a CO₂ system under control even in case of a blackout, without resorting to auxiliary cooling systems, which would increase the complexity of the installations.
