EPTA TRIUMPHS IN THE TOP 100 ESG EXCELLENCE GOVERNANCE CATEGORY OF THE SUSTAINABILITY AWARD 2024

Epta won the first prize in the Top100 Esg Excellence Governance category of the Sustainability Award 2024 promoted by the Kon Group, in association with ELITE and Azimut. The purpose of the award is to recognise the value of Italian companies which have distinguished themselves for sustainable development, social responsibility, and respect for the environment.

The Group achieved the highest overall score among the nominated businesses with a turnover of more than 250 million euros, recording excellent performance on the social and governance pillars, calculated according to the methods and parameters defined by the esg rating of Altis Advisory Università Cattolica, first school of responsible management in Italy, and Reprisk.

The award ceremony, held on 17 October at Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan, crowned Epta as a virtuous example of sustainability in the Italian business world, valuing its commitment and short, medium, and long-term vision.

SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION AS STRATEGIC ASSET

Sustainable innovation has always been a strategic asset for Epta which, together with the financial performance of the Group, helps to create a shared value and a paradigm of sustainable growth.

As highlighted in the Integrated Balance Sheet 2023, the strategies adopted by the Group aim at reducing the environmental and social impact of the business activities, through projects and investments linked to the green economy supported by a model of transparent and open governance.

The text reflects Epta’s business formula, in which environmental responsibility helps to generate economic profit, in turn reinvested in the Search for increasingly sustainable solutions, in a true virtuous circle.
