EPTA RECEIVES THE BEST MANAGED COMPANIES AWARD FOR THE FIFTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Epta receives the Best Managed Companies Award for the fifth consecutive year from Deloitte. An initiative promoted to recognise and enhance the excellence of Italian Companies, which in the vast entrepreneurial panorama represent real examples of success and leadership in the target sectors.

Launched in Canada in 1993, the Best Managed Companies programme celebrates its first 30 years and an unrivalled universally recognised global success. The international project, arrived in Italy in 2018, is finalised at creating a network of excellent companies and stimulating their strategic collaboration.

Particular relevance has been attributed in this edition to the companies’ ability to adapt which, in an unstable geopolitical context and in the face of new and changeable socio-economic paradigms, have known how to adopt flexible and innovative business models, through increasingly pervasive digitalization and growing sensitivity to sustainability, enhancing the unprecedented opportunities deriving from the Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR) whilst remaining faithful to its identity.

This is precisely the case with Epta, among the protagonists of the Awards Ceremony, scheduled for 30 October in Milan, at Palazzo Mezzanotte, headquarters of the Italian Stock Exchange.

Epta achieves gold medal for excellence

Epta achieves gold medal for excellence in the exclusive category Gold Best Managed Companies reserved for those companies which have received the prestigious award for at least four consecutive years.

Epta has demonstrated continuous improvement, proven by the conformity to the increasingly challenging evaluation criteria established by the independent Jury, formed by authoritative representatives of the Italian academic and institutional world, appointed to screen the candidates. The criteria are summarised in 6 fundamental pillars identified by the consulting firm: Strategy, Expertise and Innovation, Commitment and Business Culture, Governance and Performance Measurement, Sustainability and Internationalisation.

Epta excels in each of these categories, merging operational and financial performance of success and ESG values in its integrated mindset, for economic and environmental sustainable innovation to create long-term shared value.

The BMC programme does not limit itself to identifying and rewarding single best practices and achievements but provides the fundamental tools to trigger a virtuous process and stimulate continuous and structural growth and development.
