EPTA PUBLISHES ITS INTEGRATED REPORT 2024: CONSCIOUS INNOVATION FUELS GROUP GROWTH

Epta has published its Integrated Report 2024, a document that confirms the Group'sleadership in the market. The report demonstrates the group’s international growth in terms of turnover, and a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, in line with its new corporate purpose: 'Preserving our planet with conscious innovation. Together.’
In the 2024 financial year, Group revenue rose to €1.682m, up 17% on 2023 figures. This growth mainly involved the Retail and After-Sales Business Units, while the Food & Beverage BU maintained stable levels. Geographically speaking, the German market increased significantly (+68%) - not least as a result of the joint venture with Viessmann Refrigeration Solutions - while growth in the Americas and APAC helped consolidate Epta's global position.
The increase in sales was also accompanied by efficient management of margins, with an Adjusted EBITDA of €155m, an EBITDA margin of 9.2% and net profit totalling €50m. Net financial debt fell significantly to €94m, further confirming the soundness of the Group's financial structure.
Conscious Innovation - EPTA'S STRATEGIC VISION FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
The introduction of the new corporate purpose, 'Preserving our planet with conscious innovation. Together.' will ensure the Group's strategies have a a clear-cut orientation focusing on sustainability, conscious innovation and value creation for society and future generations. A new vision that will underpin the Group's future strategic and growth initiatives.
Over the course of 2024, Epta invested €27.7m in innovation, reinforcing its commitment to research and development into sustainable technologies, thanks to the work of more than 270 engineers in the R&D area, the Epta Innovation Centre and the Group's 11 R&D centres.
As a Green Transition Enabler for the commercial refrigeration sector as a whole, theGroup has also reached an important milestone in terms of environmental sustainability, with 95.2% of all manufacturing waste being recycled. It has also made a firm commitment to slash greenhouse gas emissions by 57% by 2028, a target it will achieve by ensuring 100% of its manufactured goods portfolio is available with natural refrigerants, as well as the adoption of renewable energy sources.

Last but not least, to mark the approval of the Integrated Report, the Board of Directors appointed Michaela Castelli as the new President of the Board of Directors. Her experience and leadership will be crucial for tackling future challenges and pursuing the Group's strategic objectives alongside Marco Nocivelli, who will retain the position of CEO and operational management of the Group.
