EPTA PROMOTES THE CONFERENCE “I REFRIGERANTI NATURALI: L’ESPERIENZA DELLA FILIERA ITALIANA”
Epta will participate in the conference “I Refrigeranti Naturali: l’Esperienza della filiera italiana” organized by Unione del Caldo e del Freddo Green di Legambiente which, scheduled on 3 December, at 2 p.m., proposes to inform, raise awareness and train all players of the HVAC&R sector on the benefits linked to the use of completely natural refrigerant fluids.
The event, hosted by the CAREL Knowledge Center of Brugine (PD) aims to promote the best practices of the Italian companies of the HVAC&R sector which have already adopted innovative solutions for the ecological transition, drastically reducing their environmental and climate impact.
Moderated by the journalist Maria Luisa Doldi, the conference includes a rich program of talks which will focus on the different areas of the sector, with generous space dedicated to the in-depth analyses of the trade associations, authorities, representatives of the academic world, installers, manufacturers, designers, dealers and end users.
WHAT THE EXPERTS SAY: FRANCESCO MASTRAPASQUA TRACES THE FUTURE OF REFRIGERATION
During the meeting, in his dual role as President of Assocold and Institutional Affairs Manager of Epta, Francesco Mastrapasqua will be called to explore the major challenges facing the commercial refrigeration sector in Italy and in Europe, with a focus on the regulatory and technological landscape of the sector, in light of EU Regulation 2024/573 on fluorinated greenhouse gases and of the regulations on PFAS, EcoDesign (ESPR) and Energy Labelling.
“The conference organized in Brugine is an extremely important and prestigious time for discussion on the circular economy and the energy transition for the entire sector and a unique opportunity to emphasise how natural refrigerants are a tangible, sustainable, efficient and safe solution and the only valid alternative to HFC and HFO gases which have clear climate-altering and polluting effects” concludes Francesco Mastrapasqua.
