EPTA IN A NEW VENTURE WITH FAI TO CONVEY THE HISTORY, NATURE AND ART OF ITALY, THE ‘BEL PAESE’

collaborazione FAI

Epta is embarking on a new venture with FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano - which for half a century now has been protecting Italy's environmental, landscape and cultural heritage, safeguarding sites while ensuring they are accessible for both present and future generations, while educating them about Italy's inestimable historical and artistic heritage

Since 2015, Epta has supported important restoration and maintenance work at Villa dei Vescovi, a Renaissance monument in the Euganean Hills. Now in 2025 this work sees the addition of new activities to promote cultural enhancement of this legacy, focused on Storytelling. Highlighting locations using different tools and languages has long been a key part of FAI's identity; the approach is in fact key to creating awareness, igniting curiosity and fostering the development of true civic conscience

EPTA INVESTS IN CULTURE: FAI’S STORYTELLING ROOMS ARE BORN

Epta has renewed and increased its commitment to social and environmental responsibility with new investments for protecting the extraordinary natural and cultural diversity of Italy's heritage, actively contributing to the creation of the Stanze del Racconto storytelling rooms in five selected FAI properties.

In detail, the Podere Lovara di Levanto (La Spezia), Villa Rezzola in Lerici (La Spezia), Monte Fontana Secca in Setteville (Belluno), Case Montana in the Valley of the Temples (Agrigento) and the Church of San Bernardino in Ivrea (Turin) will be hosting - thanks also to Epta - areas dedicated to immersive storytelling, designed to engage and foster visitor involvement.

The multimedia approach is keenly promoted by the Foundation's Strategic Plan 2025 - 2028, which combines traditional and digital narratives, i.e. guided tours by volunteers, room panels, dedicated monographs and the podcasts that already accompany visitors in their discovery of historical monuments.

Being one of the key voicesof the FAI Racconto project is a source of pride for Epta, and confirms the Group's vocation to enhance the cultural sphere, territories and the communities that inhabit them, in keeping with the new purpose 'Preserving our planet with conscious innovation. Together.’ Aware of the importance and educational function of the properties, the Group sees its collaboration with FAI as a virtuous model of inspiration for the entire sector and the Italian industrial landscape.
