Epta is present as golden sponsor at ATMOsphere Latam, the event of sessions and conferences to share the opportunities and challenges of increasingly efficient, sustainable and natural refrigeration. The themes of this edition are the latest news on regulations and market trends, as well as interesting case studies and round tables.
Epta contributes with two talks: the first, within the market trend section, to illustrate the advantages of ETE technology and, the second, to share a successful application of the same.
The event will be held in the lively city of Mexico, a metropolis which was once called Tenochtitlán and joins the thousand-year-old history of the Aztec Empire with a sparkling contemporary culture. It is in this context that ATMOsphere LATAM 2023 will be held at the hotel Barcelò Mexico Reforma on 8 and 9 November 2023.
ETE, cold which is not afraid of heat
In the framework of market trends, Epta will present the ETE solution, technology able to ensure 100% refrigerating capacity of the transcritical CO2 systems, even in the hottest climates. Recommended for a range of temperatures between 30°C and 40°C, it guarantees maximum saving even beyond 40°C. The secret lies in reducing the temperatures of the CO₂ refrigerant before its distribution to the final utilities.
Proven efficiency, with figures in hand: La anonima store, located in Lincoln in Argentina, has recorded an energy saving of 28.8%, calculated according to the ONUDI (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) parameters with a reduction of up to 90% of the total impact on the greenhouse effect.
“The global market of natural refrigerants was valued at 1,521 million dollars in 2020 and it is expected to reach 3,472.4 million dollars by late 2027, with a CAGR growth rate of 12.4% during 2021-2027.” Declares Daniele Tolotti, Commercial Director LATAM of Epta, who concludes “In 2022, Europe held the most significant market share in the sector of natural refrigerants in terms of value. It has also proven to be a true pioneer in the reduction of fluorinated gases and in the adoption of more sustainable solutions. In line with this trend, Epta is actively committed to promoting the use of natural refrigerants, and to designing increasingly efficient solutions, to shape an increasingly sustainable future which also arrives in Latin America.”
