Epta Iberia Silver Sponsor of Tecnofrío 2019

Epta Iberia will be Silver Sponsor of this year’s Tecnofrío, a conference that promotes itself as a moment of fundamental exchange between operators of the refrigeration sector, to analyse the current situation and to plot the development of the sector. Organised by the Comunidad de Madrid in association with ATECYR (Asociación Española de Climatización y Refrigeración) and with the Fundación de la Energía de la Comunidad de Madrid, this conference dedicated to refrigeration technology will be held on 16 and 17 October.  

The conference will be an opportunity to exchange ideas on different topics, like the measures in force within the European Community, including the F-Gas and the most recently introduced regulations. The scheduled discussions include the round table that will see the participation of Diego Ortega, Trade Marketing Manager of Epta Iberia, dedicated to IEC 60335-2-89: 2019. This new standard allows to adopt increased capacity limits, up to 500g for A3 (inflammable) refrigerants and up to 1,200g for A2 and A2L (low flammability) refrigerants. For several years, Epta has been promoting the adoption of low GWP natural refrigerants. IEC’s recent approval of new charge limits for A3 and A2L refrigerants represents an opportunity for Epta to evaluate a possible extension of its portfolio of low environmental impact solutions.
