EPTA IBERIA GOLDEN SPONSOR, WITH THE LIFE-C4R, OF #TECNOFRÍO20

Epta Iberia with the Life-C4R project is golden sponsor of the fifth edition of #Tecnofrío20, the Congress dedicated to refrigeration technologies, promoted by the Community of Madrid, with ATECYR (Asociación Técnica Española de Climatización y Refrigeración) and the Energy Foundation. An important on-line forum scheduled from 30 September to 01 October that will see a pool of experts take turns in conferences and round tables in a “virtual auditorium”, which can be easily accessed from the dedicated portal.

Each debate will be focused on the refrigeration sector, both commercial and industrial: to share the best practices and the innovations of cutting-edge technologies, in order to promote a cultural and structural change of the entire sector, towards the use of increasingly efficient and sustainable solutions. Among the main themes on the programme, the following stand out: evolution and trends of refrigerants, energy efficiency of refrigeration systems and Industry 4.0 in refrigeration.

A virtual place for meeting and information, which will represent a showcase of excellence for Epta Iberia to present the important goals achieved with the Life-C4R-Carbon 4 Retail Refrigeration: a three-year plan, which will end in 2021, conceived to raise awareness among all the players of the sector to use increasingly efficient solutions and show how it is possible to completely replace the HCFC and HFC refrigerants with transcritical CO₂, anywhere in the world.

As demonstration of this, updated data will be illustrated from one of the pilot projects of Life-C4R, realised by Epta Iberia for the Consum store of Bencasim. The selected store, located in the area of Valencia with a Mediterranean climate, is a clear demonstration of the excellent performance and reduced environmental impact of the FTE

2.0 Full Transcritical Efficiency and of the ETE Extreme Temperature Efficiency. These two innovative patented systems developed by Epta, heart of the Life-C4R project, have been identified by the European Union as deserving special attention, thanks to their efficiency combined with their simplicity.
