Epta promotes “Futuro, innovazione e imprenditorialità” (“Future, innovation and entrepreunership”), a modular programme with innovative contents, for upper secondary schools of the province of Belluno. The initiative, implemented in collaboration with Treccani Scuola, a training and educational centre set up inside the Treccani group (publisher of the historical Italian Encyclopaedia) aims to build a bridge between schools and businesses.

It is vital for young people who are entering the employment market to acquire transversal skills. Together with Treccani Scuola we are proud to be able to support students at upper secondary schools as they take their first steps in the employment world, with a learning offer that is new and comprehensive and well-matched to the traditional curricula.” declares Marco Nocivelli, President and CEO of Epta. He continues, “The province of Belluno is rich in entrepreneurial realities as well as young talents who are called to play a key role in the acceleration of the digital transformation of local companies. To stimulate them to embark on a career in the area where they grew up, it is necessary to provide them with the necessary guidance tools and steer them to an informed choice for their future”.

The multidisciplinary route for the school year 2021-2022 was developed by Treccani Scuola which defined the programme and the training content. The project foresees a total of 50 hours, divided into modules which alternate face-to-face lessons, with testimonies of the Epta team and in-person workshops. The theoretical teaching, provided with a mixed formula, in presence and online, will investigate technical-technological themes including a focus on Lean Manufacturing, Automation, Industry 4.0 and Sustainability. The laboratories are designed to put into practice the key skills required by the employers, on innovation and entrepreneurship, digitalisation and the activity of foresight. The teaching plan promoted by Epta is a unique opportunity to renew the confidence of the Group in the potential of the new generations and strengthen its connection with the territory
