EPTA AND ELECTROLUX BACK TO SCHOOL FEATURE IN THE KITCHENS OF THE EUROPEAN SCHOOL

Epta and Electrolux are renewing their partnership by working together on the new kitchens of the Scuola Europa (European School) of Milan. This state-of-the-art institute promotes the importance of a healthy diet as an essential element of growth and development.

The launch will be held on the evening of 10 October with parents and members of other Milanese schools taking part. The host for the evening will be an exceptional guest, chef Alessandro Polver, a member of the Electrolux Chef Academy who will be entertaining participants with mouth-watering showcooking sessions held in conjunction with Spontini and Pellegrini.

It is a unique opportunity to uncover all the secrets of healthy and nutritious cuisine: hand-picked ingredients that are always fresh, thanks to the use of exclusive Misa cold rooms. Crammed with technology, they are geared towards ensuring the very best preservation and the utmost food safety, thanks to the innovative Epta Food Defence antibacterial system. This is a special silver ion treatment which guarantees food safety for every kind of product stored in the cold rooms, ensuring the protection is both total and consistent/long-lasting.

The kitchens at the European School are a new initiative conceived by Epta and Electrolux to give a new lease of life to traditional mealtimes. During the last edition of Euroshop, both companies had already presented a sneak preview of their new Shop in Shop concept: a format which combines the pop up restaurant with the take away, and which has already received two major awards, the Retail Institute Award Italy 2017 and Host’s Smart Label 2017 prize.
