EPTA AND CSV BELLUNO TREVISO TOGETHER FOR A NEW MODEL OF TERRITORAL WELFARE

CSV

Epta and Centro di Servizio per il Volontariato (CSV) Belluno Treviso inaugurate a constructive collaboration with the goal of promoting environmental sustainability, economic and cultural development and social innovation of the province of Belluno, generating a positive impact for the local community.

Specifically, the pioneering project “Il valore della reputazione. Territori generativi tra innovazione sociale e responsabilità sociale di impresa”, proposed by Csv and funded by Fondazione Cariverona through Bando Sinergie, proposes to define a new model of territorial welfare, founded on a culture of shared social responsibility and on the steady and mutual sharing of skills between companies and Third Sector Entities.

PROFIT AND NON-PROFIT: CONSTRUCTIVE COLLABORATION FOR SKILLS-BASED VOLUNTEERING

Epta partners the initiative implemented with Confindustria Belluno DolomitiComitato d’Intesa Odv and Afdvs-Associazione Feltrina Donatori Volontari Sangue which represents a virtuous model of cooperation between profit and non-profit organizations, often little used to working together, to encourage skills-based volunteering as a strategic tool for growth.

In a context in which the skills must increasingly integrate in a transversal and interdisciplinary manner, this type of volunteering introduces a new approach of active citizenship which involves transferring managerial know-how from the company to territorial associations. In return, this project favours the consolidation of a sense of belonging by the employees, in favour of a more serene and cooperative working environment.

On one side, the key objective for Epta is to provide professional advice to non-profit Organizations, developing tools to monitor, report and transparently communicate activities, results achieved and social impact generated, facilitating the construction of solid relationships with donors and sponsors for access to funding. Furthermore, the Group will support the associations in drafting the Sustainability Report, in adapting the methodology of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and in adapting to the latest regulatory standards.

Parallel to this, all EptaPeople will be protagonists of innovative volunteering paths, finalized at strengthening the connection with the territory and translating the vocation for the common good into applicable skills, for a business culture increasingly oriented to social responsibility

With the goal of actively contributing to the development of the territory in which it works, in line with the ESG principles, always at the heart of the Group, Epta has launched the corporate programme EptaGIVES, which introduces the possibility for all EptaPeople to dedicate the equivalent of one working day to volunteering activities, receiving regular pay. A smallgesture, with an enormous potential, enriched in Veneto by the precious collaboration with Csv Belluno Treviso, an inspirational example for all countries of the Group” concludes Moncia Toffanin, Epta HR Director, Italy.
