ANDREA CAVALET OF EPTA ELECTED NEW CHAIRMAN OF EUROVENT MIDDLE EAST

Andrea Cavalet, General Manager of Epta Middle East, was elected Chairman of Eurovent Middle East at the annual regional Meeting of the most important Association of the HVAC, Process Cooling and Food Cold Chain technologies sector, held in Dubai on 2 May.
The elections of the new Board of Governors have confirmed the democratic decision-making procedures behind Eurovent, which, in addition to equally and transparently representing the requests of all players of the target sectors, promotes ever-stronger transnational cooperation to align policies and standards of the sector.
The globally-recognised Association has always built bridges between producers and legislators, renewing not only the Board, but also the work plan for the coming year. In 2024, professional training and awareness raising initiatives are integrated, with a greater focus on the transition towards natural refrigeration.
DIVERSITY AS GROWTH OPPORTUNITY
The appointment of the new Board of Governors once again demonstrates how the diversity of segments, climate zones, business and gender practices, are not a limit for Eurovent and for the sector, but rather an incredible growth opportunity towards shared success.
A board with women’s participation, led by Andrea Cavalet as Chairman, which shows the variegated nature of the Middle Eastern Association that alternates professionals of different sectors such as ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration, with a view to full representation and rotation of the different core businesses.
“It is with a deep sense of responsibility and gratitude that I accept the role of Chairman of Eurovent Middle East which honours and commits me to the progress of our Association” declares Andrea Cavalet, new Chairman elect of Eurovent Middle East, who concludes “Over the next two years my mandate will focus on the challenges of sustainability, energy efficiency and permanent training, thanks to our HVAC&R Leadership Academy with the goal of expanding our perimeter of action to Saudi Arabia, to which we look with determination and ambition”.
