Milano Design Week 2021

Style, innovation and creativity are the hallmarks of Milano Design Week. A traditional appointment with the world of Design which once again turns into an opportunity for Epta to promote the importance of a sustainable approach in every aspect of designing space. As partner of Cultifutura, Epta contributes to the realisation of the urban oasis HEALTHY of Massimiliano Mandarini, on show at Superstudio Più in Via Tortona.

From 4 to 10 September, it will be possible to discover the new concept devised by the biophilic designer Massimiliano Mandarini, which takes the form of an urban forest, an open architectural space that encloses a more intimate and immersive space. A true “oasis” where, thanks to the right mix of tradition and innovation, nature, human activities and technology merge and help to stimulate creativity and green approach, generating a new paradigm of life and work, dedicated to Eco-intelligent Communities.

In this context, the Milanese start-up Cultifutura, created in synergy with Epta and Corporate Hangar, present CultEvo. It is the first product of vertical farming which, making the experience of cultivating one’s food accessible to everyone and anywhere, is designed to improve personal well-being and create low-impact communities. The solution, perfectly in line with the leitmotif of HEALTHY, becomes the interpreter of a perfect balance between well-being of people and circular economy, thanks also to the contribution of cutting-edge systems. CultEvo by Cultifutura, proves to be the ideal choice in this microenvironment: it allows to take time and care of self, for a healthy lifestyle, creating a single connection between urban communities and nature, with a view to OpenInnovation.
