THE COOLING INDUSTRY AWARDS
Tesco won the first prize "Green End-User of the Year" at the Industry Cooling Awards in London, thanks to the installation “Co2 transcritical” recently installed by Epta at the hypermarket in Swansea. This win highlights the careful attention that Epta, especially in the last years, has demonstrated to the environmental sensibility developing solutions called “CO2 transcritical” or “HFC free” (thermodynamic cycle with a pressure that will overcome the “critical” pressure, beyond which there is no difference between fluid and gaseous state) which guarantees both superior performance and attention to preserving the environment. Using CO2 instead of idrofluorocarburi reduces the impact on ozone depletion and connect good quality, high technology and ecology. As you know the wide availability in nature, neither toxicity nor inflammability help energy saving to give the possibility to use smaller diameter piping and therefore minimise costs.
